A Continuation...
It's surprising how fast a semester can pass.. actual counting, a semester actually lasts for only 4 months excluding all the term holidays. In 4 months 2 have completed 7 modules with an average of 2-3 projects for each module, + tests n exams.... Hahz. i tink we each muz have had a surprisingly strong determination.
O... n yar. pple muz be tinking that my clique n i muz b crazy. cuz we still want 2 participate in e CIMS Marketing Competition. Well, we have our reasons. Hehe. So.. after exams were all over in mid-August, we met our client chosen by our mktg lecturer cum tutor - Suzuki Coffee at beach rd. It was like... wow... how n where are we supposed to start on... The Task: Attract Singaporean youths (currently a vacuum mkt segment) to drink gourmet coffee that has to be prepared by ownself. Diaoz.. N so we did... we juz did wad we tink might work.. n oso tot of farnie personality classifications 2 segment the Singaporean youth mkt. Well... it was intensive work but there were still some enjoyable moments. Prize money was quite attractive n this motivates pl all thru e project.
Waited for quite some time for the results to be out n finally, we knew it ytd. E person muz b rather anxious too maybe... cuz she rang me up much earlier than my alarm clock. I wake up at arnd 2 during e hols n e alarm was set at 10.30 for show only... juz telling me e time. Well.. dun say that i sleep a lot k... i slp at 3-4am de k! 10h slp juz rite 4 me. We made it to the top 6 n we have to compete again in e final round on 14 oct in e form of a formal presentation @ Crown Prince Hotel. it's like only 2 weeks to the date. Our mktg tutor called me up ytd afternoon.. n asked abt e rest of e 5 shortlisted institutions. I told her they were NUS, NTU, RP, SP, we n Charted Institute of Technology. She was rather surprised that SMU was not in n seem quite relieved. She said SMU pple all confident speakers. She then reminded us that our "real" competitors were e 2 polys. I asked wad abt e Us... she said that they are only good academically... i was like Diaoz..
Was tinking of how to spice up e prelude of our presentation. Doing a video was wad we had always done for our projects in sch whenever sy, pl, cat n me are in e same project grp. But we tot it might not be formal enuf to present to the judges. Still got 1 amgmoh. Kaoz.. can't make out wad he's saying, dunno how 2 ans his Q at that time. Haiz... Well... still cracking our brains.
This mon our TEP training starts.... fancy eating 2 weeks into our semester hols. Kanasai. I dun even noe where i'm sent 2.... TEP is practical work training in sch for Yr 2s.... Sy kena e worst place... Cheers in sch - a v bz unit... Hahaz... need stay there for arnd 10wks before a rotation. Seems she can't rest lo... Haha.
