NYP Open House 2007
Hehez... last thur till sat was NYP's Open House. My clique n I volunteered ourselves to help out in e event. Cuz dey say we can earn CCA points ma... but 1 point only. Nevermind. We were also all out to enjoy ourselves at e same time.
We volunteered ourselves in the CCArnival, introducing all the different CCAs available in NYP. We helped out in the ARTS sector, being the ARTS committee members. We designed interactive games to introduce the ARTS CCAs. We started to set up our booth since tuesday. During e 3 official Open House days, we have to mend our booths n that was FUN!! Hahaha.... We were given an excuse letter from our current stopovers to help out in e event. Hehe... Taking advantage of the situation in some sense. But well.... we tot it might be boring. We were wrong. I'm sure we enjoyed the whole event thouroughly though it was tiring. We were missing the days now.... Too bad tt PL had chicken-pox on tt week n couldn't come.
Over the 3 days, we went for a lucky draw as well as a lucky dip twice a day religiously. Hahaz... For Fun and oso to claim back a bit of our school fees. Hehez... We also participated EXTREMELY actively in the activities at the "mindsports" booth. If you manage to solve a Sudoko successfully or answered all the questions in their quiz correctly, you will be given a rainbow spring. So we worked hard for it lo. Hehez... Mel did 5 Sudokos in total. E pple there were scared of her oredy wor. So farnie. But we made friends with a girl who is in the B class of Marketing diploma. We were quite on friendly terms with the "mindsports" pple, and dey will then bring their attractive gifts to our booth for us, whenever they open a new pack of design. Muahahahaz.

Our booth was real noisy. Not only is there a loud speaker playing loud music right behind our ears, there was also this arcade percussion instrument right behind our booth. We went to the venue earlier every morning to play the arcade instrument. Hehez.. There was this song that everyone of us could hum now. Seems like many pple who tried that machine plays this song. Ah... There were also the "showies" who queued for the machine, wanting to show-off their drumming skills. Diaoz.
It was said that there was Swensens ice-cream available for collection. We had to register to get a coupon to redeem the ice-cream at School of Chemical & Life Sciences, which is miles away from where we were. We searched the whole school for the booth but to no avail. We nearly gave up. But on our last day, thanks to a Leo Club president who is mending the "leadership n community service" booth. He brought cups of ice-cream for us. Haha.. dun need go collect ourselves. Not long after, he brought cream buns for us oso. Wow.... so good rite? Cuz he interested in one of my friends... Haha.
On e last day, we also specially prepared a "Chicken-pox relief pack" for PL. Hehez... We even gave her a cup of Swensens ice-cream in e pack!! *Box only*
We will definitely paricipate in the open house next year to continue our days of fun and laughter. Hehehez...
